Mary Frances Stiver (nee Mueller) of Mount Prospect, 83, passed away on July 16, 2018. She was a nurse at Northwest Community Hospital for 30 years and a volunteer up until 2013. She was very active at St. Raymond’s church where she worked in the ministry of care as a Communion minister, making christening gowns for babies, blankets for the Linus group and participating in the afghan club. She was active with the Friends of the Library at the Mount Prospect Library and her quilting group. She loved Disney, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, George E. Stiver. She is survived by; five children, Gregory (Cindy) Stiver, Cheryl Ryan (nee Stiver), Diane Zawada (nee Stiver), Michael (Dorothy) Stiver, and Nancee (John) Erickson (nee Stiver); and thirteen grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Benjamin, Mathew, Maureen (Chaz) , Kevin, Anthony (Raquel), Caroline, Nicholas, Emily, Samuel, Anna, and Keith.
Visitation Tuesday July 17, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect, IL 60056.
Visitation Wednesday July 18, 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Route 83) at Lincoln St., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.
